Terms and Conditions – Umbrella Corp Consulting
1. Definitions

"Consultant": Umbrella Corp Consulting, represented by Danny Maus.

"Client": Any individual or organization that purchases or utilizes services from the Consultant.

"Services": All consultancy, travel planning, safety advisory, coordination, logistical support, 24/7 assistance, and related services offered by the Consultant.

"Agreement": The contractual relationship between the Consultant and the Client, based on the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

"Travel Safety Officer": A Consultant representative assigned for personal assistance during travel.
2. Scope of Services
The Consultant provides travel planning, destination analysis, risk assessment, transport and accommodation support, safety advisory, crisis preparation, and 24/7 assistance services. These services are structured into tiered packages (Gold, Platinum, and Diamond) and may include optional add-ons. Services are provided on a one-time basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Advisory Role & Limitation of Liability
Umbrella Corp Consulting acts solely as an independent advisor. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, reliability, and preparedness, final decisions regarding travel remain the sole responsibility of the Client.
The Consultant is not liable for:

Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines, transportation providers, hotels, or other third parties.

(Fatal) Injury, illness, property loss, or legal consequences during travel.

Failure of the Client to follow safety protocols or recommendations.

Acts of mother nature, terrorism, war, pandemics, or government restrictions.
The Consultant is not a licensed travel agent, insurer, or legal representative. Services are provided on a best-effort basis. 24/7 support is subject to availability and agreed-upon service hours.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate, timely, and complete information.

Cooperate with the Consultant and respond to communications promptly.

Obtain necessary travel documents, visas, insurance, and comply with local laws.

Disclose any medical, personal, or professional risks that may impact travel.
Failure to comply may void liability coverage from the Consultant and may result in immediate service termination.
5. Service Packages and Add-ons
Descriptions and pricing of the Gold, Platinum, and Diamond packages are provided transparently on the Consultant’s website. Customization and add-ons are possible on request. Pricing is exclusive of VAT (21%) unless stated otherwise.
6. Booking, Payment & Cancellations

All services must be prepaid unless otherwise agreed.

A 50% deposit may be required to confirm Diamond or customized packages.

Services are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Cancellations more than 14 days prior to the service start date may be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds within 14 days.

Add-ons and rush services (booked within 5 business days of travel) may incur extra fees.
7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All shared data is treated confidentially. The Consultant complies with GDPR regulations.

Client data is used solely for service delivery.

Information will not be shared with third parties without written consent, unless legally required.

Communications are secured using encrypted tools where feasible.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials (reports, safety plans, briefings, documentation) provided remain the intellectual property of Umbrella Corp Consulting. Reuse or distribution without written consent is prohibited.
9. Force Majeure
The Consultant is not responsible for failure to perform services due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, cyberattacks, pandemics, strikes, or government orders.
10. Insurance Recommendation
The Consultant strongly advises Clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including emergency evacuation and medical coverage. The Consultant does not provide insurance and is not responsible for claims or reimbursements.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute will be submitted to mediation or the courts of Leuven, Belgium, unless otherwise agreed.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Translations provided for convenience do not override the original legal version in English.
13. Updates to Terms
Umbrella Corp Consulting reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Clients will be notified of substantial changes. The latest version is always available at www.umbrellacorpconsulting.be/terms-and-conditions.
